Joie de Vivre
A joy for life does not mean a disregard for what is dire. Joie de vivre regards the dire with great respect. Case in point, my father's parting words to my sister and me were, "enjoy life." He was in his last days of his 96th year in January, 2026. I do not take his sentiment lightly. You could say it's a learning curve to fully embrace what it means.
Kate had nine months to enjoy the publication of Meet Your Muse before she passed. And, enjoy she did. She was thrilled. I now own her original art for both the front and back covers, graciously gifted by her husband. These originals hold her touch, her skill, her love of what she was making... like an imprint. She made them as the prototype to share our work with you. Enter the portal, end with the ensō. See what happens for yourself...
