And you—what of your rushed
and useful life? Imagine setting it all down—
papers, plans, appointments, everything—
leaving only a note: “Gone
to the fields to be lovely. Be back
when I’m through with blooming.”
Kate’s Turn:
Spring can be so busy – a new change is visible every day in
the natural world – and in our own world as we awaken from the winter’s
rest. Spring invites us to the
playful, spontaneous opening, flowering, birthing of all things new. It calls us to abandon ourselves to the
abundant creative force within, to our own inevitable blooming. We simply forget our serious selves and
follow our inner being of love and joy – our blooming will be gift for all. I followed my love of spring flowering
by enJOYing the 70,000 bulbs in bloom at our local arboretum – so, so
lovely!
“Love the work. Destiny will do what it wants with you,
regardless.” - Elizabeth Gilbert
